Vitoria (EFE).- For the first time since the pandemic broke out in March 2020, there are no patients with covid in the ICUs of Euskadi hospitals.
The Basque Government Health Department has reported the evolution of the pandemic.
In the last week, 3 people died as a result of this disease, one less than in each of the two preceding weeks.

But the most striking data is the absence of patients with covid in ICU beds in Basque hospitals, something that has not happened in three years of the pandemic.
Since the beginning of this year, almost every day there have been a maximum of ten critically ill patients. In the first wave of the covid, there were up to 236 patients in an ICU bed in the Basque Country, at the beginning of April 2020.
The situation on the ward has worsened, yes, because in Basque hospitals there are 70 patients with covid, when two weeks ago, in the previous epidemiological bulletin, there were 47 patients.
Within the population aged 60 or over, the cumulative incidence in 14 days has dropped from 55.3 cases per 100,000 inhabitants to 51.98 this Sunday. EFE
