Madrid (EFE).- On the occasion of 8M, Efeminista launches the space “Macho Violence Data” on its website and social networks, which will collect data, statistics and reports on male violence and inequality in Spain, a pioneering initiative in a medium of communication that will reinforce the work of public service of the EFE Agency.
This space was created with the aim of becoming a useful tool for research, specialists and people interested in knowing the figures and data that show the magnitude of inequality and gender violence in Spain.
In “Macho Violence Data” the main information, statistics and records related to gender violence, femicides and all kinds of inequalities that affect women and girls will be compiled.
Efeminista, the first media specialized in collecting data on gender violence
Efeminista, the Equality Agency portal, will thus become the first specialized media to collect all the figures that document this type of situation.
Here you can consult updated data related to sexist crimes, identities of the victims, active cases of gender violence, location devices, calls to 016, resources, sexual violence or complaints, as well as those extracted by Efeminista from reports and studies prepared by institutions public and private.
The tab will include, among others, data from the Ministries of Equality, Justice and the Interior, the Government Delegation against Gender Violence and the General Council of the Judiciary.
It will also incorporate figures on femicides and studies that help make visible the gender gap that exists in our society.
