Murcia, Mar 4 (EFE).- A 30-year-old man has been arrested in San Javier (Murcia) as the alleged author of a sexual assault on a 12-year-old girl with whom he contacted through social networks and with whom he videos of a sexual nature and came to meet to have relationships, reports the Civil Guard.
The investigation remains open because the existence of more victims has not been ruled out since a laptop, a mobile phone, four hard drives and several memory sticks have been seized, on which the Civil Guard is carrying out an exhaustive analysis and in which has detected the existence of files containing child pornography.
It was the father of the minor who went to the police station to report the events last February, suspecting that his daughter had had relations with a man with whom she would have contacted online.
The operation called Jalleco was launched, achieving the identification, location and arrest of its alleged perpetrator, for the crimes of sexual assault and child pornography, thanks to specialized members of the Judicial Police and belonging to the Women and Minors Team (EMUME), who They found that the man had gained the minor’s trust through a social network, getting her to send him videos of sexual content.
After the virtual contacts, the man finally convinced the minor to make an in-person appointment in which he had sex with the victim in the case. The EMUME specialists carried out a series of investigations that made it possible to identify the individual who was behind an anonymous profile on a popular social network and who, presumably, was behind the authorship of the facts investigated.
During this action, the EMUME troops also intervened in the vehicle where, allegedly, the meeting with the minor had taken place, which was examined by members of the Criminalistics Service of the Civil Guard to search for evidence related to the events, which they are being analysed.
The detainee, the seized effects and the proceedings have been made available to the Investigating Court of San Javier (Murcia).
