Background
On February 7, it was made public that the Supreme Court had annulled the exclusion of bullfighting shows from the catalog of the 2022 youth cultural voucher, of 400 euros, due to the lack of justification from the Government.
The Contentious-Administrative Chamber thus upheld the appeal of the Toro de Lidia Foundation against the norm that regulated said cultural bond and annulled the tag of its article 8.2. in which bullfighting shows were excluded.
The Executive, who could choose to try to argue that exclusion more solidly, decided to abide by the ruling of the High Court and the Ministry of Culture reported the following day, February 8, that bullfighting would include both the bonus which was granted in 2022 and which is in force as in 2023, which is not yet possible to request.
In fact, that same day Minister Miquel Iceta reported that the Supreme Court ruling would be published in the Official State Gazette (BOE) and after that bullfighting could be incorporated into the bonus.
The publication process
The Official State Gazette includes today the ruling of February 2 of the high court that annulled the exclusion of the bulls from the catalog of the Youth Cultural Bonus, thus estimating the appeal presented by the Fundación Toro de Lidia.

The Ministry of Culture assured after the sentence that it would include bullfighting in the Youth Cultural Bonus, both in the one that is now in force granted in 2022, and in the call that is being worked on for 2023.
According to Culture sources, the bases to enjoy the Cultural Bonus are those in force. Once the bullfighting companies have joined, the beneficiaries will be able to use their voucher in them, within the live arts section.
