Pamplona (EFE).- The police have arrested a man as the alleged perpetrator of a crime of sexual assault after a woman reported a rape with possible chemical submission. The man, after being brought to justice, has been released with a restraining order and prohibition of communication with the complainant.
The events were reported to the Pamplona Municipal Police by the victim who suffered the sexual assault.
Apparently, according to the police in a statement, the events occurred on the weekend of February 17 when the victim went out for a walk with other people. After her complaint, the Citizen Attention Office activated the protocol for sexual assault and the victim was accompanied to the University Hospital of Navarra.
After various investigations, on Sunday the 26th, the alleged attacker, a 30-year-old man, was arrested with the collaboration of the Foral Police in a town near Pamplona.
On Monday he was made available to the Court of Instruction number 5 of Pamplona this Monday and was released, with a restraining order of 150 meters and a ban on communication with the complainant, according to judicial sources.
