Madrid (EFE).- García Madrid lives design with passion and with his feet on the ground, making men’s tailoring an object of desire for men of all ages, who like to “be free when it comes to dressing” , says this Saturday, on the third day of the Madrid catwalk.
Manuel García Madrid returns with his signature to the official calendar of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid, with refined, current tailoring, with which he wants “man to feel free”, he comments to EFE, wearing excellently tailored suits without being conditioned by conventions.
A maxim that leads him to want to dress gentlemen so that they “feel handsome, I don’t care how old they are,” says the designer. Proof of this is that minutes later the actor Pepón Nieto and the athlete Jorge López de Guereñu walked the catwalk.
García Madrid warns that it is a collection focused on marketing, “fashion also consists of giving work and that cannot be achieved if there are no sales”.

And for this, he presents suits, jackets and sweatshirts in recycled cotton and takes risks with the mixture of colour, with “combinations without prejudices”, such as a jacket in a cauldron tone that he presents together with a magenta pink shirt or the jump into the void with red and brown chocolate.
Satisfied with having a loyal clientele, García Madrid opens his patterns to a younger and more colorful tailor shop with which to give “quality, warmth and humanity, that’s what I offer”, personalized attention with which to know first-hand the needs of each client.
The beauty of butterflies has been the leitmotiv of the Odette Álvarez collection, which debuts for the first time at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid, where she has presented a collection of large volumes, colorful and studded with gemstones.

The new proposal by the Santander designer for the upcoming autumn-winter 2023-2024 season is made up of her emblematic jewelery coats in XL version, pieces that are combined with more skin-tight garments such as legging pants, very present in the collection .
Odette Álvarez once again proposes brightness and vibrant colors in flowing garments.
“Fashion is aesthetics and beauty, but it is also industry and business,” Álvarez, who has been in the textile sector for thirteen years, told EFE.
He maintains his production in his native Santander. “I feel that I have evolved and grown a lot, but it is difficult terrain that requires a lot of work,” explains the designer.
