Madrid (EFE) union demands, dirtying everything”: “It is disgusting, we have to force it to end”, he affirmed.
The regional president has thus defended, during the control session in the Madrid Assembly, the order to prohibit the collection of signatures in health centers in favor of the strike of family doctors and primary care pediatricians that was issued yesterday.
He has assured that “the shirts, the bracelets, the demonstrations are very good” but it is necessary to “allocate the union work where it belongs”, to which he has added that “it is not acceptable that a patient and an elderly person go to the center of health and are manipulating them”.
“Patients don’t have to put up with their union demands. They have the right to be treated in a public space, with decorum and calm. They cannot be kidnapped”, Díaz Ayuso has reiterated, who has accused Más Madrid and the left of “destroying” the health centers.
“We have to force it to end”
“About destroying public health, this is disgusting and we must force it to end,” he reiterated, showing two photographs of health centers with posters showing claims in defense of public health.
In addition, he has snapped at the socialist leader, Juan Lobato, that he himself also issued an order -when he was mayor of the Madrid town of Soto del Real- in which he points out: “Advertising activities of any kind will not be allowed in the following places: (…) On or from the temples, cemeteries, statues, monuments, fountains, buildings, trees, plants, public gardens and annexed enclosures destined by urban planning for equipment, endowments and public services”.
Lobato, however, has criticized the Madrid president for “threatening and prohibiting”, to which he has ironized that “she is making a Bolshevik face” no matter how much she defends “communism or freedom”.
The leader of Más Madrid, Mónica García, has also defended the demands for public health, who has accused the regional Executive “not only of abandoning the heart of the Welfare State, but also its skeleton: education.”
