Brussels (EFE) of a recession this winter, according to the first preliminary estimate released today by Eurostat.
In the European Union as a whole, GDP rose 3.6% in 2022 and remained stable in the last three months of the year, also above expectations in both cases, according to figures from the Community Statistics Office .
The Spanish economy registered the third highest growth rate in the EU between October and December, with 0.2%, the same as Portugal and only behind Ireland (3.5%) and Latvia (0.3%), among the countries for which Eurostat already has data.
Among the great powers of the euro zone, apart from Spain, only France saw its GDP increase, by 0.1%, while Germany registered a decrease of 0.2%, and Italy, 0.1%. AND
