Madrid (EFE).- Young people from seven communities have already begun to collect the aid approved a year ago by the Government to facilitate access to housing for those under 35 years of age (Young Rental Bonus), but the payment is progressing steadily unequal, since it is the autonomies that are in charge of processing the procedures.
From the Government they assure that, regardless of when they have begun to pay, these aids that young people with an annual salary of less than three times the Public Indicator of Multiple Effects Income (IPREM) -20,844 euros- can request, will be paid with retroactively from January 1, 2022.
Asturias, the Balearic Islands, the Canary Islands, Catalonia, the Valencian Community, Extremadura and La Rioja, in addition to Ceuta, have already begun to pay the aid, while in Andalusia, Aragon, Cantabria, Castilla y León, Castilla-La Mancha, Galicia and Madrid the applicants have not yet begun to receive the money, although they will soon.
In Navarra and the Basque Country, the Youth Rental Bonus does not apply because they have had their own rental aid programs for young people for some years now: Emanzipa and Gaztelagun, respectively.
The current situation, according to the information collected by the EFE delegations in the different autonomous communities -except in Murcia, where the regional government has not provided data-, is as follows:
