Santander, Jan 28 (EFE).- This morning the snow conditions traffic in some points of the Meseta highway (A-67) as it passes through Cantabria, while it has forced the closure of three mountain passes in the regional network of roads.
On its website, the DGT recommends traveling with caution through the snow in the section between Santa Cruz and Valdeprado del Río, in both directions, between kilometers 157 and 117.25 of the A-67.
It also asks for caution due to snow when traveling on the national highways, N-611, from Santa Olalla to Valdeprado del Río, between kilometers 157 and 120.98, and N-623, in the section between Corconte and La Puente, between kilometer points 93 to 101.
The snow is also affecting, on the N-629, the section between Herada and Aguera (Burgos), between kilometers 58 and 45, where caution is also requested when driving.
Furthermore, in the regional road network, the CA-280, from Valle de Cabuérniga to Salcedillo, is closed to traffic; the CA-631, as it passes through the port of Estacas de Trueba, and the CA-643, in the port of Lunada.
The chains are mandatory to circulate on six other sections of the autonomous roads of Cantabria: Puerto de Matanela (CA-623), Piedrasluengas (CA-281 and CA-184), ascent to the ski resort of Alto Campoo (CA-183 ), port of La Sía (CA-665) and between Matamorosa and Mataporquera (CA-284).
