Baku, Jan 27 (EFE).- The Azerbaijan Foreign Ministry today blamed Tehran for the attack on its embassy in Iran and announced the evacuation of employees of the legation.
“We resolutely condemn this cunning terrorist attack against the Azerbaijani embassy in Iran,” Foreign Affairs said in a statement, announcing that “corresponding measures are planned for the evacuation of Azerbaijani embassy employees and members of their families.” .
Iran, for its part, condemned the attack that caused one death and two injuries, and ordered a “priority” investigation to determine the causes of the incident.
The spokesman for the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Nasser Kananí, “condemned” the attack and expressed his condolences to the victims, while assuring that the assault and its causes will be investigated.
