Artists participate in the inaugural parade of the Uruguayan Carnival, today, in Montevideo (Uruguay).
The Uruguayan carnival – known as the longest in the world – kicked off this Thursday with a parade in which 48 groups marched down the main avenue of Montevideo.
Before an audience that filled the available seats, the murgas, the society of blacks and lubolos, parodists, magazines and comedians who will be part of the 2023 Official Contest, as well as others who were invited, paraded.
The music, the color and the beating of the drums took over a night, which did not lack dancing and which was accompanied by the heat.
