Valledupar – A student in the last semester of Engineering at the Universidad del Areandina, Valledupar campus, lost her life this Wednesday, while supervised a work in the capital of Cesar. Is about Blanca Cecilia Sanchez Villazon, 23 years old, a close relative of the deceased vallenato music singer, Rafael Orozco.

Sanchez had finished his academic process, was doing professional internships at the aforementioned institution and was preparing to graduate this year.

The preliminary report indicates that the young woman fell into the void, after trying to lean against a wall, where an elevator appears to be built in the People’s University of Cesar (UPC), savannah headquarters of this locality.

The student suffered severe head trauma and fractures in different parts of the body, for which she was referred to the Laura Daniela Clinic in Valledupar, where she died.

The death of the young woman shook her fellow students and the Areandina educational community, who expressed their solidarity with the Sánchez Villazón family.
