María Ruiz I Granada, (EFE).- The climb towards university life, with the choice of career, faculty, subjects or specialties, may be less steep this year thanks to Pablo and Carlos Osorio, two brothers in charge of designing and activating “UnaUni” application, a new social network that will act as a sherpa on the way up to find a flat, notes or friends.
The last year of high school, the pressure of selectivity (EvAU) and the cut-off marks are for many the first slope to climb the top that represents the university degree. The one that begins with the decision to choose a career.
A few days before thousands of pre-university students know the first awards of their careers, two brothers with theirs completed have presented a solution to facilitate the path. The UnaUni mobile application.
Pablo and Carlos Osorio from Granada learned the formula for success in the world of education with @quimicapau. A project with some 400,000 followers on social networks that served as the basis for an academy with a waiting list. And books with a new teaching model that are sweeping from pre-sale.
Space for the university community
“From there arose to create WhatsApp groups in which we brought people together for careers and universities. Strangers sharing useful information. But many things were lost because networks like Instagram don’t let you search with keywords,” Pablo Osorio explained to EFE.
This young entrepreneur, who has organized selectivity drills and makes jokes to simplify the chemical formulation, brought his brother to the project. To develop a revolutionary technology focused on automatic connection and dynamism.
UnaUni is a free social network, adapted to all operating systems. That aspires to connect and help pre-university students in a kind of “pay it forward” to pave the way for their new stage.
The application, which is presented as a specific space for the university community, has achieved some 2,000 users per week since its launch in mid-June. Kids who support a network of advice to offer notes, recommend electives, encourage that “bone” subject or meet people.
“We have created a social microenvironment that did not exist until now. Neither in Spain nor in another European country, which allows you to be connected, use the chat by race and city or make smaller groups. It is the concept of a useful social network”, explained Carlos Osorio.
The path to the university world
This new social network seeks to unite university, pre-university and graduate students to share data. Help each other and learn the secrets of this or that faculty of the country. A proposal in which the Osorios present themselves as a kind of sherpas to make this new stage of life easier.
To meet people from Murcia who are going to study Nursing in Lugo, you only need to enter these two parameters in this new social network.
The app will work its magic and connect people who have already graduated there from this healthcare career, others who are studying it and those who, like the Murcian in the example, will be another novice next year.
And thus, the slopes are smoothed out and it is easier to land on a stage thanks to a network in which users can share hobbies, organize trips, attend meetings, get notes, solve doubts, find flatmates and ask for advice from veteran university students. .
It also offers innovative features such as dynamic rankings, automated connections, intelligent groups or “Flow Trends” or dynamics, challenges such as guessing movies just by emoticons or sharing skills such as singing.
In this way, the Osorios have created a network that protects the climb towards the university world as the best of the Sherpas. EFE
