Madrid (EFE) it hasn’t happened.
Sánchez has made these considerations in an interview on Onda Cero in which he has suggested that he would not facilitate the investiture of Alberto Núñez Feijóo in the event that the PP was the list with the most votes and to prevent Vox from entering the Government.
The head of the Executive has given a notable rating to the management of his Government, he has recognized that he may have made mistakes during his tenure, including the law of only yes is yes, but he has assured that he has always tried to keep his word and has tried to be honest.
By reminding him of decisions contrary to what he had promised, such as agreeing with EH Bildu or not pardoning politicians after having decided on this measure of grace for Catalan pro-independence leaders, he has assumed that he has had changes in his political position on some state affairs, as in the case of Catalonia.
He has assured that this was a difficult decision but that he adopted it to try to solve a problem and that it has translated into an improvement in coexistence.
To the promise to classify in the Penal Code the call for illegal referendums
Regarding his promise to classify the call for illegal referendums in the Criminal Code, he has indicated that lessons must be drawn from what happened in Catalonia and that article 155 of the Constitution is sufficient to deal with situations such as the one experienced in 2017.
He has also referred to the agreement to govern in coalition with Unidas Podemos after having previously stated that it would take away his sleep to specify that he would never have left in the hands of that political force ministries that they claimed, such as Finance or Energy, nor other State departments.
“It is evident that there have been changes of position on certain issues, but the results are there,” he insisted before stressing that this does not mean that the end justifies the means.
He does not accept that it is said that he has governed with Bildu
However, he does not accept that it is said that he has governed with Bildu because there has not been an agreement for it or ministers of this political formation, and he stresses that there have only been parliamentary agreements in a similar number, he recalled, to those that have been with the PP.
Yes, he has criticized the statements of the Government delegate in Madrid, Francisco Martín, in which he said that Bildu has done more for the Spaniards than “all the jingoists with their wristbands” when considering that he “was wrong” with these “unfortunate” demonstrations and that does not share.
Sánchez has hinted that if the PP were the list with the most votes, it would not facilitate the investiture of Feijóo to avoid having to agree with Vox.
Reminding him that in 2019 he defended letting the most voted list govern, he considered that, after what has happened since then and the fact that the PP has not respected that maxim after the municipal and regional elections, “those debates belong to another epoch”.
“The PSOE comes out to win”
“The PSOE comes out to win,” he reiterated after accusing the PP of doing “an exercise in cynicism” by now defending that the list with the most votes should govern.
Sánchez believes that the performance of the PP during the legislature is defined by two concepts, blockade and institutional disloyalty, and considers that it practices “Trumpist” policies by not complying with the Constitution, refusing to renew the General Council of the Judiciary, sowing doubts of “pucherazo” 28M and try to “dehumanize” the political adversary.
He has also returned to demand face-to-face debates with the PP leader and has complained that there is a disproportion in the media gatherings between those who defend progressive policies and those of the right.
