Barcelona (EFE).- Jorge Messi, father and representative of Leo Messi, assured that the Argentine star “would like” to return to Barcelona this summer, after meeting this Monday with the president of the Barça entity, Joan Laporta.
Messi’s father went to Laporta’s home to talk for about half an hour about the future of his son, who has decided not to renew for PSG and who has a million-dollar offer to play in Saudi Arabia.
However, Jorge Messi confessed that what the family would like is to return to Barcelona, something that happens, first of all, because LaLiga approves the feasibility plan for the Barça club for the next two seasons.
“I don’t know yet” or “we have to talk about a lot of things,” replied Messi’s father when the journalists asked him if the return of Rosario’s crack could be practically taken for granted.
In any case, Jorge Messi, who made clear his son’s intention to return to Barça, announced that the negotiations will not take longer than necessary and that the final decision should take place “shortly”.
