Logroño, (EFE).- The Logroño firefighters and the security forces are investigating whether the small explosion that occurred this Thursday in a building on Fausto D’Elhuyar street in the capital of La Rioja, in which no injuries have been reported, had its origin in the accumulation of garbage inside the house.
Around 2:00 p.m., the Logroño firefighters received a notice of a fire inside a house at number 3 Fausto D’Elhuyar street, where a small explosion had occurred just before, they explained to EFE neighbors of the property and sources of the investigation.
Apparently, the person who lives on this floor, has detailed the same sources, accumulates a large amount of belongings and junk inside and manipulates them with tools.
The neighbors have claimed to have heard how this man, who has left the house on his own foot, was working with a tool just before hearing a small explosion and the flames began.
The rapid intervention of the firefighters has prevented the fire from spreading through the building and causing personal injury.
Teams of the Logroño National and Local Police have also traveled to the scene of the event, along with several ambulances.
