Oviedo, May 15 (EFE).- The president of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, has shown himself convinced this Monday that both the PSOE and Spain would have done better if the former president of the socialist manager and former head of the Asturian Executive, Javier Fernández, would have been secretary general instead of Pedro Sánchez and has asked the militants of that formation who today feel “ashamed” and do not recognize themselves in it to vote.
At the central rally of the PP campaign in Asturias, held at the Ciudad de Oviedo Conference Center in front of a thousand people, Feijóo pointed out that 28M is “crucial” to reject “Sanchismo” at a time when many Socialists feel the same repugnance as him when his party maintains as a “structural” partner parties “that have murderers on their lists.”
Thus, and after warning voters of other formations, alluding to Vox although without naming it, that if they want the PP to govern what they should do is vote for it, he has summoned the “ashamed” socialists and who have lost “their reference politics” to now support the popular candidacies, a “focused, moderate and State party where they can feel comfortable.”
In his opinion, the regional and municipal elections “are not just another election” and can serve “to change the rhythm or to deepen the drift” of a Spain that must choose “between management and frivolity, between the general interest or the personal and between strong or weak governments”.
According to Feijóo, accompanied by the candidates for Mayor of Oviedo, Alfredo Canteli, and for the Presidency of the Principality, Diego Canga, after five years of a “weak” president like Sánchez, democracy consists in governing “for all” majorities and not that minorities do it “imposing everyone” as up to now without any (socialist) baron moving a finger.
For the leader of the PP; His party was born with the Constitution and grew “as it consolidated” and, to this day, “it continues to defend it despite the fact that the government does not do so” and that the territorial leaders of the PSOE are now raising their voices ” a little bit” to give “hesitant” headlines with which to distance himself from Sánchez instead of opposing his measures within the party.
“They are the same as Sánchez, they vote the same as Sánchez and they want to continue doing the same as Sánchez and for this reason they deserve to be defeated in Asturias and in the rest of Spain”, a country, he stated, “tired of being tired” of a government that has made 1,079 rapists and pedophiles see their sentences reduced, that more than a hundred are already on the street, that reduced the penalties for corruption and eliminated the crime of secession and that has legislated “in favor of the illegal occupation” of homes .
In this balance of a government “in which the Podemos ministers have to go to the PSOE rallies to find out about the measures that the next Council of Ministers will approve”, the PP leader has also included the “joke” of “buying wills in the campaign” with measures such as paying for trips to young people or lowering the cinema for the elderly “with no income limit”.
In addition, he stressed that the government “the most expensive in democracy because of its Falcons and its elephantine entourages” has raised taxes, increased the deficit and raised the public debt since it came into power at a rate of 200 million euros a day.
“What a business, you spend and the others pay,” said Feijóo, convinced that the budget cut of 6,000 million proposed by the European Commission to Spain for next year will no longer have to be addressed by a PSOE that, he has predicted, by then he will no longer be in government.
