Oviedo (EFE).- Agents of the Oviedo Local Police have arrested a man on Tuesday shortly after robbing a bank branch from which he took about 500 euros after threatening the employees with a simulated gun.
National Police sources have informed EFE that the robbery took place around 8:45 a.m. at a branch located on Naranjo de Bulnes street in the Ciudad Naranco neighborhood.
The man committed the robbery with a simulated pistol and a flashlight that he posed as a taser (electric weapon).
The robber was arrested shortly after committing the robbery by some agents of the Oviedo Local Police who were carrying out traffic regulation work.
The detainee was transferred to the National Police, which has taken charge of the proceedings. EFE
