León (EFE).- What do the candidate of the PP for the Mayor of León, Margarita Torre, and that of the Union of the Leonese People (UPL), Eduardo Sendino, have in common? Both are big movie fans and go to theaters regularly and cite Alonso Quijano as their favorite character from Don Quixote, in addition to extolling the legacy they received from their parents in the form of values.
Three weeks before the appointment with the polls, Torre, 54, and López Sendino, 64, have responded to a common questionnaire raised by the EFE Agency on aspects that, in principle, have little to do with politics with which in order to make his most human side known.
The mayor of the city and socialist candidate, José Antonio Diez, for his part, has declined to answer these questions. These are the questions raised and their answers:

1) When you get sick, do you self-medicate?
– Margarita Torre: I do not self-medicate because I respect health personnel a lot.
– Eduardo López Sendino: Unfortunately I self-medicate because I am not one of those in favor of going to the doctor a lot.
2) How many relatives do you have unemployed?
– Torre: Who does not have an unemployed family member in this country? I got it.
– López Sendino: Fortunately none.
3) With which character from Don Quixote do you most identify?
– Torre: Without a doubt Alonso Quijano, I have a lot of knight-errant, although I also like Sancho Panza.
– López Sendino: Obviously with Don Quixote himself.
4) In the distribution of tasks at home, what do you do?
– Torre: The tasks I do at home are reduced to shopping and cleaning the house because the day I go into the kitchen my family goes out the window.
– López Sendino: Usually my wife and I share the housework and there is no problem in that regard
5) Your last plane trip, where did you go and what motivated you?
– Torre: It has been to Sicily and it was a vacation with my son.
– López Sendino: I went to Belgium to see my son.
6) Who was your youth idol?
– Torre: My youthful idol was John F. Kennedy who I loved for his charisma, for his ideals and his tragic death idealized him a lot.
– López Sendino: One of my youth idols was ‘Magic’ Johnson, a player for the Los Angeles Lakers.
7) What is the best memory or legacy of your parents?
– Torre: Give me values and a wonderful family environment.
– López Sendino: The honesty of both.
8) Any traffic ticket?
– Torre: Yes, unfortunately I have some.
– López Sendino: Yes, the radar has caught me once.
9) How long has it been since you went to the movies? What movie did you see?
– Torre: Cinema is one of my favorite hobbies and I have instilled it in my son and the last film I have seen this week was ‘The Exorcist of the Pope’.
– López Sendino: I usually read almost every week and the last film he has seen was Air.
10) Did you work while you were studying at the university, did you have a scholarship or did your family pay for your studies?
– Torre: When I was at the University I started working, and I considered that there were people who needed a scholarship more and although I had a note to be able to get a scholarship, I gave up asking for it.
– López Sendino: My family paid for my studies.
