BOGOTA COLOMBIA). Friday, February 11, 2022 (RPTV NEWS AGENCY). After the massacre in Arauquita, Arauca, of 4 men who were transported in a truck, was known, the authorities are investigating whether they were part of the Eln or the Farc dissidents that operate in this region of the country.
The vehicle with Venezuelan license plates would have passed through one of the illegal trails that these groups outside the law place to evade the checkpoints of the authorities.
“Prior to this event, there had been a confrontation with bullets and rifles, which is why we believe that these 4 people were trying to enter Colombia to avoid this confrontation,” said General Jorge Eduardo Mora, commander of the Army’s eighth division.
The authorities indicate that the security cameras could help to verify these new homicides in the department of Arauca.
