Piqué and Chía appeared today at the investigating court number 6 in Barcelona, as a result of the lawsuit for harassment that they filed against a paparazzi, Jordi Martín, who today defended that he was doing his job and has alleged that he did not know that the car park The one he entered following the couple was private.
As reported by judicial sources, at the hearing Piqué withdrew his request for precautionary measures to issue a restraining order from the paparazzi.
For her part, Clara Chía has maintained her request for a restraining order, although she has reduced the distance from the 3 kilometers she initially requested to one thousand meters.
Speaking to journalists after leaving the court, Martín has assured that the Prosecutor’s Office sees no evidence of crime in his actions and has insisted that he limited himself to doing his job, always from a distance.
Despite the fact that the couple has detailed several occasions in which they believe that Martín would have harassed them, the reason for the complaint dates back to May 4, when the photojournalist entered to take photos of them in the parking lot of a supermarket on Beethoven street in Barcelona, near the headquarters of Piqué’s company, Kosmos.
Martín has alleged that he did not take any photos and that when a security guard asked him to leave because he was in a private parking lot, he immediately left, despite the fact that he thought it was a public area because the parking lot is located under a supermarket.
