Madrid (EFE).- Spanish industrial production fell 4% in April in the interannual rate, 9.3 percentage points less than the rate registered in March, mainly due to the decrease in durable consumer goods and intermediate goods .
According to the data published this Tuesday by the National Institute of Statistics (INE), durable consumer goods fell by 9.9% and intermediate goods, by 6.5%.
The other sectors also dropped the indicator in April: non-durable consumer goods, with a decrease of 4.6%; energy, which fell by 2.1%; and capital goods, which fell by 0.6%.
