Madrid (EFE).- The President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, has formally proposed today to the leader of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, to hold a face-to-face debate every Monday in the media in the seven weeks remaining until the elections of the next July 23.
“I expect Feijóo next Monday”, Sánchez stated during his speech at a conference on European funds organized by Eldiario.es, where he defended this format since debates in parliament are no longer possible.
He has also stated that the debates must be between him and the leader of the PP because, although other nuances can be added, only “two possible presidents or Sánchez or Feijóo” can emerge from these elections.
