Logroño, (EFE).- The VII Course on Linguistics and Didactics of Spanish, organized from July 3 to 7 by the International Center for Research on the Spanish Language (Cilengua), will delve into syntax and its teaching in this edition.
This course is coordinated with the support of the Rioja Center for Educational Innovation (CRIE) of the Government of La Rioja, the regional Executive has reported in a note.
This activity intends, in an eminently practical way, the scientific and technical training and updating of teachers, although it is open to anyone who is interested.
This year the focus is on syntax, which studies the combination of words and structures through which the meanings of a language are expressed in speech, as well as the relationship between all of them.
Various linguistic approaches have described the nature of syntactic relationships, the formal constraints of constituent groups, and the versatility of some grammatical units, the organizers have detailed.
However, the observations and doubts that assail teachers and researchers in the practice of syntactic analysis are frequent, and more when it comes to directing it to its teaching in the classroom.
