Pamplona (EFE).- A ship from the Navarra Recycling Center in Cintruénigo has burned this Friday with containers with construction material inside. The event has caused the eviction of workers from three adjoining warehouses and has confined the population of Fitero and Cintruénigo due to the cloud of smoke produced. The fire has already been extinguished.
At 12:00 p.m. this Friday, the Service Operations Center (COS) of the Civil Guard of Navarra has displaced the closest patrols to the place, where a fire was taking place in this warehouse of the Recycling Center. Several teams from the Tudela Fire Department, the Foral Police and the Cintruénigo Local Police have come to the place.
Recommendations to the population
The emergency services of the Government of Navarra have recommended that the population remain at home, with everything closed to prevent the entry of smoke and not to approach the fire.
The agents have made a seat belt in the area for the transit of people and for the movement of vehicles due to the smoke released by the fire. They have also proceeded to evict the workers from three adjoining warehouses.
