Madrid (EFE).- Lily Rose Depp and the singer of The Weeknd in “The Idol” (HBO Max), Samuel L. Jackson in a new Marvel series (Disney+), Idris Elba and Tom Holland in two thrillers on Apple TV+ or Lolita Flores on SkyShowtime are some of the protagonists of the fictions that premiere on the platforms in June.
Together with them, successful series return such as the third season of “The Witcher”, with Henry Cavill (June 29 on Netflix), the fourth of “Jack Ryan” (30 on Prime Video), the third of “Valeria” (day 2 on Netflix), the second of “And just like that” (day 22, on HBO Max) or the second of “Rapa”, with Javier Cámara and Mónica López (June 15 on Movistar+).

Co-created by singer The Weeknd -real name Abel Tesfaye- and “Euphoria” author Sam Levinson, the plot revolves around a down-on-his-luck singer determined to reclaim her pop star throne when she meets a mysterious owner. from a club in Los Angeles (USA) with a dark past.
Tesfaye, one of today’s great world pop stars, is also the lead, along with Lily Rose Depp, and executive producer of the series, presented at the Cannes Film Festival.

Idris Elba produces and stars in this seven-episode thriller told in real time, which follows the journey of a hijacked plane as it heads to London, a seven-hour flight as authorities on the ground struggle to find answers.
Elba plays Sam Nelson, a businessman who has to step up and use all his cunning to try to save the lives of the passengers and is joined by Archie Panjabi as the anti-terrorist agent Zahra Gahfoor.
