Zamora (EFE) an incident that arose with the electoral ballots of one of the parties that has forced the start of voting to be delayed until half past ten.
In addition, voting will also be extended 45 minutes beyond 8:00 p.m. at the Candelario polling station (Salamanca) due to a conflict between whether the first or second alternate should preside over the polling station and 30 minutes at a polling station public San Cristóbal de Colon de Valladolid, also due to the delay in starting the voting.
The Government delegate in Castilla y León, Virginia Barcones, has made known these incidents at the beginning of the voting day, in which there have also been anecdotes such as a silicone-sealed ballot box that was cleaned in time for the vote in the province de Zamora or the confinement from outside of the members of a polling station in the province of León that forced them to call a locksmith

Another incident not yet resolved occurred in the town of Almenar de Soria, where ballots appeared in the booth with the crosses already made for the candidates of a party, in one of the municipalities that, being of less than 250 inhabitants, vote on lists open.
In Rapariegos, the error that has delayed the vote was due to the fact that one more candidate appeared on the ballots for the PSOE candidacy, five instead of four.
This incident was only registered in the ballot papers printed by the City Council itself for the day of the voting and not in those previously delivered to homes by postal mail sent by the parties.
The electoral board has agreed that the vote be carried out and the erroneous ballots are kept in the booth, but all voters are informed “in situ” that only four of the names of that candidacy are valid.
In Candelario (Salamanca), the problem arose from the conflict over whether the first or second substitute should chair the table, since the president had excused his absence and the first substitute had not been accredited because he was over 65 years of age. and they had thought that for this reason he was not going to come to be part of the table.
However, he did, although in the end it was the second substitute who assumed the duties of table president.
locked up
The most curious anecdote of the day occurred in San Andrés del Rabanedo (León), where the concierge of one of the polling stations left the keys on the outside door when the members of the polling station entered the center.
Someone locked them up and it was necessary to call a locksmith to open them, something he did in time to open the polling station on time, as detailed by the Government delegate.
Another anecdote occurred in the Burgos municipality of Jaramillo Quemado, where there were only five voters in the census and four of them voted early in the morning and the fifth had done so by mail, but since the mail had not yet arrived it was necessary wait for that early vote to be able to close the table and proceed to count without having to wait for eight in the evening.
Along with these anecdotes, there have been others such as having to go to look for a polling station member at his home so that it could become the beginning of voting that, in general, has resulted with few incidents and a dominant note of normality in Castilla and Lion. EFE
