The last vessel was sighted around 7:00 a.m., by the fishing boat El Marina 63 miles from Arrecife (Lanzarote), when it was stopped and without fuel.
The Guardamar Polimnia came to his aid, which rescued the 48 people on board, all North Africans, 45 men and three women, and in apparent good health.
The Maritime Rescue boat is heading with the immigrants to the port of Arrecife, where it is expected to arrive around 3:00 p.m.
Likewise, in the south of Gran Canaria, 32 immigrants were helped by the Red Cross late this Saturday after arriving in the area of the Maspalomas lighthouse.
Some of the immigrants were in poor condition, so they were transferred to a hospital.
Likewise, at 01:50 today, Sunday, another boat with 38 men of North African origin was found near the coast of Lanzarote, between the area of Arrieta and Punta Mujeres, in the municipality of Haría.
A third vessel was also located on the coast of Lanzarote and the Guardamar Polimnia de Salvamento Marítimo came to its aid, which rescued 49 people of North African origin at dawn.
All those rescued – 47 men, a woman and a child – were transferred to the pier of La Cebolla, in Arrecife (Lanzarote), where they arrived early this Sunday. EFE
