Ferrol, May 27 (EFE).- A double by Jaume Jardí has allowed Racing de Ferrol to certify direct promotion to the Second Division this Saturday, a category they abandoned 15 years ago and to which they return after beating Celta B 2-0 in a full A Malata stadium with some 11,000 spectators in its stands.
The prominence of Cristóbal Parralo’s team was not enough to break the defensive framework of the sky-blue subsidiary, which was outnumbered in the second half due to the expulsion of Iván.
The green box took advantage of this circumstance to precipitate the changes in its eleven in search of greater offensive potential and found its first clear opportunities from set pieces.
Jardí put Racing de Ferrol ahead thanks to a move started by Carlos Vicente, also the creator of the assist that led to the second goal, also the work of the Catalan.
Champion of the first group of the First Federation, the naval team completes a season of renaissance of the support of the fans after fifteen years between the Second Division B and the Third, which has allowed it to touch the full house on several occasions during the course.
