Madrid, (EFE) millionaire fraud to Social Security and has exonerated the seventh defendant in the case.
As reported this Friday by the National Court, the Criminal Chamber of the National Court has imposed sentences of three years in prison and a fine of 25.6 million euros on the owners of the iDental group between February 2005 and October 2017. Antonio Javier García Pellicer and Vicente Castañer Blasco.

He has also sentenced the subsequent owners of the company -between 2017 and 2018- Luis Sans Huecas and the brothers José María and Juan Garrido López to five years in prison and a fine of more than 55 million.
A sixth defendant, the administrator José Luis González Sánchez, the magistrates consider him a necessary collaborator of the previous ones in the crime against Social Security and sentence him to two years and six months in prison and a fine of 36.7 million euros.
The sentence, which applies to the six convicted the simple mitigation of undue delay, establishes that they must jointly compensate Social Security with the amount not paid during their management: 8.5 million euros in the case of Pellicer and Castañer and 18.3 million in that of the other four convicted.

The magistrates acquitted with all favorable pronouncements the seventh defendant in the trial, Domingo Bejarano, for whom the Prosecutor’s Office requested three years in prison for acting as a figurehead for the owners.
The judges explain that the iDental group was formed in the period between February 2015 and October 2018 by various related companies that carried out their activity linked to dental clinics and workshops. Until 2017 the owners were Garcia Pellicer and Castañer Blasco and from 2017 to October 2018 they were Sans Huecas and the Garrido López brothers.
In the first period, the companies that make up the group stopped paying Social Security contributions, using deceptive artifices, and caused damage to the public treasury of 8,565,486 million, according to the sentence.
Already in the second period, and after the appointment of José Luis González Sánchez as administrator, non-payments and deceptive artifices persisted, causing damage to Social Security of 18,366,530 euros.

Regarding García Pellicer and Castañer Blasco, the judges detail that “their conduct did not consist of the mere fact of not paying, but that they achieved this end with a series of fraudulent maneuvers designed for that purpose that made both the inspection work and the collection of Security difficult. Social”.
As for Luis Sanz Huecas, José María Garrido, Juan Garrido and his necessary collaborator José Luis González Sánchez, they explain that they committed a continuous crime, “because when they acquired iDental the first three had no intention of paying the group’s debt to Security Social that reached 8,565,486.47 euros, more than what is strictly necessary to continue with the progress of the business, and they continued with the preconceived fraud plan, increasing that debt in less than a year to more than eighteen million euros.
