The arrest of Martín, who has spent the night in police cells awaiting his judicial appearance, occurred on Wednesday afternoon for an alleged assault during an electoral visit to the El Tablero sports center, where he went with Patricia Hernández, the candidate for mayor of the capital of Tenerife, and her team to record a video about her condition.

“In politics you have to be exemplary, beyond the extenuating or provocations that José Ángel Martín states that could have happened. It is clear that yesterday’s behavior was not exemplary ”, and, therefore, the number two on his list has resigned from all his positions“ and the PSOE accepts it ”.
