San Sebastián (EFE).- The second man arrested for the death of Lukas Agirre, by judicial order, enters prison. The magistrate investigating the death of Lukas Agirre, the young man stabbed last Christmas Day in the center of San Sebastián, has ordered this Monday the admission to prison of the second man arrested at the time for his alleged relationship with this crime, they have reported to EFE sources of the case.

During this act, both the Prosecutor’s Office and the private accusations made by the parents of the deceased have requested the entry into provisional detention of this second man, a request accepted by the magistrate investigating the case, according to the aforementioned sources.
This second 26-year-old man thus joins another 24-year-old who is in pretrial detention after voluntarily turning himself in before the Ertzaintza on the same day the events occurred.
That day, the Ertzaintza also arrested a 28-year-old woman who was with him now incarcerated near the scene of the crime and who remains on provisional release for these events.
The crime occurred around 6:20 a.m. on Sunday, December 25, 2022 in Okendo Square, located between the Victoria Eugenia Theater and the María Cristina Hotel, where the 24-year-old victim received several stab wounds after she died on the spot.
