Palma (EFE).- The Més per Mallorca candidate for the presidency of the Balearic Government, Lluís Apesteguia, considers that access to housing and the use of Catalan are the priority problems of the next legislature, and for this reason, he will propose addressing them in “two great country pacts” after 28M.
In an interview with Efe, the candidate aspires to govern so that, within four years, when the legislature ends, the Balearic Islands will be a more “just, sustainable and cutting-edge community.”
“Country Pacts”
QUESTION: Define the Balearic Islands in one sentence.
ANSWER: We are different realities that constitute a community of shared interests.
Q: If you win and become president your first move would be…
A: Summon two great country pacts: one for housing and one for language.
Q: Three words by which you would like the Community to be defined at the end of your term.
A: Fair, sustainable and cutting edge.
Q: What series would you like to see filmed in the Balearic Islands?
A: I had never thought about it… I’ll say “Friends”, because it’s a cliché.
Q: Why vote for Més if the president of the left would be Armengol?
A: Because it is not certain that the president of the left is Francina and because Més is the one who makes the policies in favor of the citizenry really advance and without being subject to the protection of the interests of the central government.
Vox does not take politics “seriously”
Q: Do you have social networks?
A: Yes.
Q: What was your last tweet?
A: Yesterday afternoon, making jokes about the program that Vox has presented in the municipality of Deià, my municipality (it is mayor). He talks about the Deià river, about a non-existent low emission zone, also about expanding the metro network, which is something that, as everyone who has visited us knows, is of paramount importance for the people of the town. These are people (Vox) who take politics very little seriously and are very lazy.
