While the former has announced the approval of more resources for mental health, the popular president has launched to ask the electorates of Vox, Ciudadanos and the socialists disenchanted with “sanchismo” to vote.
Health has returned to focus today the meeting of the President of the Government with the announcement of the approval this Tuesday of 38.5 million euros for mental health. In Valladolid, where he has gathered around 1,500 people, Sánchez has defended his campaign ads and has lashed out at the right for wanting “everything to come to a standstill” in an election year.
Feijóo, for his part, has gone a step further and after yesterday demanding the vote of the socialists tired of “sanchismo”, today he has asked for explicit support for the liberal voters who “excited Ciudadanos at the time” and those of Vox who want “strong and committed governments”.
The president of Vox, Santiago Abascal, has made a direct allusion to the PP to warn him that his formation will not give him the votes where they are decisive to form a government.
A strong and quality public healthcare
In Valladolid, together with the socialist candidate for re-election, Óscar Puente, Sánchez has once again attacked the PP’s policy of “cuts” and has encouraged support for his party in the elections because doing so is “voting for strong, free public health and of quality”.
During his rally, he reviewed measures implemented by his Government such as the 2022-2026 mental health strategy or the 024 telephone service for suicidal behaviour, which has already answered more than 119,000 calls.
Unite the vote in the PP
The PP has held its central campaign event in the main territory that it aspires to seize from the PSOE and in a symbolic space: the Valencia bullring.
“It is essential to unite the vote in the PP. If you want change, vote and if you want change, concentrate the vote on the Popular Party”, Feijóo exclaimed before an audience of more than twelve thousand attendees.

The PP has focused criticism from both the Minister for Equality and leader of Podemos, Irene Montero, and the second vice president of the Government and leader of Sumar, Yolanda Díaz.
For Montero, in Spain there is no right “but the extreme right”, which seeks to attack democracy to return to bipartisanship, while Díaz has stated that Feijóo’s only project is “to govern against the people.”
For her part, the Minister of Social Rights and Secretary General of Podemos, Ione Belarra, has announced that wherever they enter the Government they will limit the purchase of housing to non-residents in areas declared to be in a stressed residential market.

In reviewing what the campaign has given in the communities where elections are held, two of the candidates for re-election have agreed that this week will be decisive.
The president of Cantabria and PRC candidate, Miguel Ángel Revilla, seeks to turn around the polls that place the PP as the winner in the regional elections. “This week is a rush,” Revilla said.
Meanwhile, in Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso has predicted that the “wave of change in the south” of the region will arrive on 28M, as will the rest of the communities where the socialists govern: “You get out of socialism, you get out of grief it comes out, from decadence it comes out ”, he has maintained.
