The Spanish Union of Airline Pilots (Sepla) has summoned the Air Europa pilots to eight new days of strike for the days 22, 23, 25, 26, 29 and 30 of May and the 1 and 2 of June, after the four that were carried out at the beginning of this same month and that resulted in 68 canceled flights.
Eight new days of protest
During these eight new days of protest, the canceled flights amount to a total of 114 and affect the national routes that link Madrid with Bilbao, La Coruña, Palma de Mallorca, Vigo or Malaga, and the international ones to Rome (Fiumicino), Milan (Malpensa), Paris-Orly, Porto or Lisbon, in addition to the one that connects Barcelona and Palma.
Specifically this Monday, a round-trip flight from Madrid to Bilbao, Palma de Mallorca, La Coruña, Málaga, Rome (Fiumicino) and Milan (Malpensa), respectively, as well as a round-trip between Barcelona and Palma, are cancelled.
In the first five days of the strike, as well as in that of June 1, the airline will stop operating 14 flights in each of them, while on May 30 there will be 18 operations suppressed and, the last (June 2) , a total of 12.
