Valladolid, (EFE) They will undertake an indefinite strike starting next Monday.
A hundred workers from the Administration of Justice have gathered during the morning in front of the headquarters of the Courts of Valladolid, in the central Angustias street, chanting protest songs, with whistles and horns, and with banners that read “with progressive government, class-based justice” and “this minister is not worth it, return her to the corrals”.
The general secretary of the CC.OO Justice sector, Luis Calero, a member of the strike committee, explained in statements to journalists that Justice officials have been on strike for five weeks now, protests that began with partial strikes for seven days and that today reach fourteen days of general strike.
The minister still does not call any meeting
“The minister continues without calling us to any meeting” nor does she make any offer to solve the conflict, Calero has denounced, who has labeled this position as “indecent and classist”.
He has argued that he does negotiate with the professional associations of magistrates, judges and prosecutors, while “ignoring” the rest of the staff, which represents 93% of the court staff.

“He does not care that hundreds of thousands of judicial proceedings are suspended”, the representative of CC.OO, has reproached the minister.
She has added that there is a “collapse and delay” in the “unaffordable” administration of justice, while she continues without negotiating.
Indefinite strike from next Monday
Given the lack of a call from Llop to negotiate, the mobilizations will intensify and an indefinite strike will take place from May 22, he stressed.
Among the demands of the workers, Calero has listed a salary increase in line with the one carried out with the Lawyers of the Administration of Justice (LAJ), and the maintenance of labor rights.
He has also cited the negotiation of the Organizational Efficiency Law, which puts thousands of jobs at risk that could disappear and the destinations of the staff.
He has estimated the follow-up of the strike in Spain at 85%, more than 25,000 workers, and has stated that the unions have also appealed to the Prime Minister, Pedro Sánchez, by letter, to intervene and resolve the conflict.

More than 800 paralyzed lawsuits
In the same sense, the regional president of Csif Justicia, Juan José Banciella, has given as an example that more than a hundred views are suspended every day in Valladolid due to the “closeness” of the minister.
He has said that today the courts have more than eight hundred lawsuits paralyzed in Castilla y León.
The social and first instance courts are already setting appointments for June 2024, while civil matters are also being set for next year.
He has criticized the imposition of “abusive” minimum services and has guaranteed attendance at the demonstration called for next May 25 in Madrid, in which he has predicted that “a full” of attendees from Castilla y León will be registered, where they work about 2,800 professionals in this area and where the strike is being supported by 80 or 85% of those affected.
This is “a lost judicial year” and the minister continues without reacting, he has summarized. EFE
