Toledo (EFE) and assures that it will be “moderate and calm”, thanks to the application of its electoral program.
In an interview with Agencia EFE the day before the start of the electoral campaign, Núñez highlighted that the 2,244 measures in his electoral program are the result of his meetings with the collectives of the region, for which he added that this political change -which He has no doubt that it will happen- it will come hand in hand with civil society, as it promises to govern “in coalition with the two million Castilian-Lamancan people.”
In this way, Núñez does not reveal if he is willing to govern in coalition with Vox if the PSOE does not achieve an absolute majority, but he does seem convinced that he will obtain a “sufficient majority” that will allow him to form a government.
“I am a convinced democrat, the polls are going to speak and the Castilian-Manchegos, who are never wrong, are going to make a decision and they are going to translate it into the polls. And those of us who have a political obligation, what we have to do is respect the popular will”, he affirms.
For this reason, and when asked if he has already closed a preliminary agreement with Vox, as the PSOE has assured, Núñez denounces that “the PSOE spends the day lying and spreading hoaxes” and, in his opinion, this happens because ” they are desperate, in a campaign of lies, inappropriate for a serious party like the PSOE”.
He sees García-Page “exhausted, tired, disillusioned”
“Today’s PSOE in Castilla-La Mancha has stopped resembling the region,” says the PP candidate for the Presidency of the Junta, who sees the regional president and socialist candidate for re-election, Emiliano García-Page, “exhausted , tired, disappointed”.
He even accuses him that his only objective when it comes to presiding over Castilla-La Mancha is “himself, for organizing his chair, for having a strategic place in which to make the leap into national politics, certainly not thinking of Castilla-La Mancha.” La Mancha” and concludes that García-Page “is not at the moment being president of Castilla-La Mancha and it is evident”.
A change of cycle to “get out of inertia”
For this reason, Núñez stresses the need for Castilla-La Mancha to experience a political change as of May 28, which he describes as a “cycle change” so that the region can “get out of inertia” in which, in his opinion, it has the region fallen.
To do this, it proposes economic measures, such as the creation of an axis with the Community of Madrid and Andalusia, which will entail other reforms such as tax cuts, changes in the housing or land law and reduction of bureaucratic procedures to favor economic activity.
It also proposes initiatives in health, such as recovering the health career or a plan to combat waiting lists and, for the primary sector, suggests legalizing the wells that are currently in an irregular situation and repealing the Family Farming law.
An electoral campaign with “a tremendous illusion”
To transfer these proposals for change, Núñez affirms that he will deploy a campaign with a “tremendous illusion”, in which he will be permanently supported by the national leadership of his party and even highlights that the two national deputy secretaries who are from Castilla-La Mancha, Carmen Navarro and Carmen Fúnez will have their own campaign agendas in the region.
Instead, he predicts that the PSOE will carry out a “raging campaign, full of insults, lies, disqualifications and nonsense” which, in his opinion, reveals that “it has assumed that it loses the elections and the Government of Castilla-La Mancha” and maintains that an example This statement is the source of the controversy that arose after learning that he had earned mileage for his activity as a parliamentarian despite the fact that he had an official car.
“There is also an administrative error, with political ill will on the part of the general secretary of the PSOE of Guadalajara and president of the Cortes, Pablo Bellido, to try to create a scandal where there was a simple error,” accuses Núñez.
For all these reasons, Núñez assures that he does not think about whether the next Legislature will continue as opposition leader if he does not reach the Presidency of Castilla-La Mancha, because “that is not going to happen” and he is “absolutely convinced” of the victory of the PP at the polls in the regional elections.
Núñez also predicts that the PP will govern in the five provincial capitals and in the five councils, thanks to the “sensational strength” of the candidates and also predicts change in large towns such as Puertollano, where the PSOE has always governed.
The entry Núñez sees a “moderate and calm” change for Castilla-La Mancha as “unstoppable” was first published in EFE Noticias.
