Pontevedra, May 8 (EFE).- At least twelve people have been injured after being hit by a car that broke into a festival that was taking place last night in the Pontevedra municipality of Vilanova de Arousa.
One of the injured, a minor boy, is in serious condition after suffering severe abdominal bleeding and four other people were also taken to hospital.
The event was recorded around 11:25 p.m. during the concert that the Paris de Noia orchestra offered during the patron saint festivities of San Miguel de Deiro.
A vehicle in which two octogenarians were traveling broke into the concert venue and collided with the tent for reasons that are being investigated, as reported by the Civil Guard
During the nearly twenty meters that the car traveled inside the structure, it ran over the victims, several of whom had to be helped to get out from under the car.
The Armed Institute has investigated the event and, after cordoning off the area, ordered the immobilization of the vehicle, an automatic Smart car, in which the elderly were apparently enjoying the concert.
