Madrid, May 2 (EFE).- The Meteorological Agency (Aemet) forecasts for tomorrow, Wednesday, some rain in Galicia, Asturias and León and rising daytime temperatures in areas of the center and north of the peninsula, more pronounced and notable in the Cantabrian eastern and northern Navarre.
The rains may be accompanied by occasional storms and spread, in a weaker and more dispersed way, to other areas of the Cantabrian Sea and to the west of the Northern plateau; in the rest of the Peninsula and the Balearic Islands, little cloudy except for some clouds on the peninsular Mediterranean coast.
In the Canary Islands, cloudy intervals in the north of the islands, with a low probability of weak precipitations in those of greater relief, and little cloudiness in the rest
Daytime temperatures will drop in the western third and extreme southeast of the peninsula, as well as in the Canary Islands, and will rise in the center and north of the country, notably in the eastern Cantabrian and northern Navarra.
The 30 degrees will be exceeded in the valleys of the Tagus, Guadiana, Guadalquivir, Ebro in its middle and upper sections, in the eastern Cantabrian area and it is not ruled out that they will be reached in the surroundings of the province of Valladolid; the minimums will rise, except in the Mediterranean area and the Canary Islands, where they will remain unchanged.
The wind will blow from the east and south in the peninsula and the Balearic Islands, with intervals of strong easterly in the Strait, but it will tend to roll southwest on the Atlantic and inland Cantabrian slopes; to the west strong on the Cantabrian coast, with gale at sea, and to abate in the Strait and Alborán, remaining variable weak at the end.
In the Ebro and Catalonia, winds from the southeast and in the north of the Mediterranean area will roll from northwest to southeast, while in the Canary Islands, trade winds from the north.

.- GALICIA: intervals of medium and high clouds in the afternoon until cloudy with rain and widespread showers that can occasionally be accompanied by storms. Morning temperatures slightly rising and maximums falling, especially in the western half, with minimums to be reached at the end of the day. Loose wind from the south component, tending and intensifying to the southwest.
.- ASTURIAS: medium and high clouds increasing to cloudy at noon with rain and general showers in the afternoon that can occasionally be accompanied by storms in the western half. Rising minimum temperatures; rising highs, locally notable in the north and slight or unchanged in the south. Variable light wind except on the coast before noon, which will be more intense from the east, without ruling out, in the afternoon, very strong gusts of wind from the west and northwest at the western end of the coast.
.- CANTABRIA: cloudy in the afternoon with showers at the end of the afternoon, more likely in Liébana. Rising temperatures, between remarkable and extraordinary for the maximum of the coastal strip. On the coast, east wind that at the end of the afternoon will turn to the west and accompanied by strong gusts. The change can be sudden and gale-like. Inside, variable light wind.
.- BASQUE COUNTRY: intervals of high clouds and medium clouds in the afternoon. Rising temperatures, which except in the east and south of Álava will be notable at maximum and even locally extraordinary on the coastline. On the coast, an easterly wind that at night will get stronger to the west with very strong gusts on the western coast. In the interior, light wind from the south and southeast and with more intense intervals, especially at the end in high eastern areas.
.- CASTILLA Y LEÓN: medium and high clouds with light precipitation in the northwest in the second half of the day, occasionally in the form of scattered light showers. Storms associated with showers are not ruled out. Minimum temperatures on the rise, being able to become notable in the central valley of the Duero. Highs slightly rising in the northeast and with little change in the rest. .- LA RIOJA: intervals of high clouds with some bands of average cloudiness in the afternoon; tending to slightly cloudy in the last hours. Rising temperatures, locally notable in the minimum. Variable wind, in the afternoon increasing in intensity and fixing from the southeast in the Valley and from the southwest in the Sierra.
.- ARAGÓN: intervals of high clouds. Rising temperatures, locally moderated in the minimum of the Pyrenees. Light variable wind tending during the morning to the south and southeast, light to moderate.
.- CATALONIA: intervals of high clouds. Minimum temperatures on the rise in the interior and without changes on the coast and pre-coastal; rising maximums in the Pyrenees and unchanged in the rest. Light variable wind, prevailing during the central hours the south and southeast light to moderate.
.- EXTREMADURA: medium and high clouds; leaving little cloudy in the last hours. Minimum temperatures in slight ascent; decreasing maximums in the western half and with little change in the rest.
