Vitoria (EFE).- The Ullibarri and Urrunaga reservoirs in Alava, which supply water to Bilbao and Vitoria, are at 75% and 73% of their capacity, respectively.
These are the data from the Ebro Hydrographic Confederation.
Meanwhile, the Añarbe dam in Gipuzkoa is at 82 percent.
The Álava reservoirs have dropped only a little – two Ullibari hectometres and one Urrunaga – compared to their level a month ago, despite having suffered a very dry April.
The Álava reservoirs hold on despite the drought
The drought of the last three months has meant that the levels are below the average of the last ten years at this time -85 percent.
But even with the current levels, the water supply is guaranteed.
A year ago they were at 88%.
Ullibarri, the main reservoir of the Zadorra system, retained this Sunday 110.5 cubic hectometres of water, 75.4% of its total capacity.

His little brother Urrunaga, who is half the size, accumulates 52.6 hectares of water, 73.0% of its capacity.
The smaller Ordunte reservoir in Burgos, which directly supplies Bilbao, is almost full, with 19.3 hectometres, which represents 87% of its capacity, which is 22.1 hectometres.
Añarbe improves
In Gipuzkoa, the largest dam, Añarbe, which supplies water to San Sebastián and several neighboring municipalities, contains 30.7 hectometres, 82.4% of its capacity, which is 37.2 hectometres.
It is even one point more than a month ago, thanks to the fact that it has rained a little: seven liters today, Sunday, and 3 liters yesterday, Saturday. EFE
