QUESTION: Define the Valencian Community in one sentence.
ANSWER: We, in the wind.
first measure
Q: If you win and become regional president, your first step would be…
A: Intervene the rental price in stressed market areas as soon as the state regulatory framework supports us. The courage of the 340,000 people who supported United We Can in the general elections has paid off, the Housing Law is a reality, but now it is the turn of the autonomous communities. That is why it is so important that this support, extended to other social sectors, have continuity in the regional elections and make possible the full application of the law here.
Q: Three words with which you would like the Community to be defined at the end of your term.
A: Change of production model. We aspire to be stronger in the Consell to promote a new socially fair and ecologically sustainable production model, which integrates the true creators of wealth into the economic process. A model based on energy and food sovereignty, which is committed to the reindustrialization of the Community and organic farming.
Q: What series would you like to see filmed in the Region?
A: A season of ‘Succession’. The series (from HBO Max) delves into the links between the big media, business power and the political class, what was once called ‘The Plot’, and which limits and conditions our democracy. It would be very interesting if a season were filmed here and, from fiction, we critically reflect on a power structure that despises the common good and lacks a project for the country.
Networks
Q: Are you an active person on social networks? Which do you prefer?
A: I have no other choice… I normally use Twitter because of its connection to current affairs and because it is the medium that a large part of society chooses to get information, although I try to be active on most social networks, such as Facebook, TikTok and Instagram. Political responsibilities require you to make a permanent effort to communicate what you are fighting for every day, and networks are a useful tool.
Q: What is your favorite part of the campaign? What are you most looking forward to these weeks?
A: Feeling the warmth of the people and sharing a political commitment, a determination to face power to defend social rights and the general well-being no matter how strong the pressures to silence us. That warmth and that rebellious spirit keep me going. For me it is essential when it comes to recharging energy and not losing sight of the horizon we want to head towards. EFE
