Sports writing (EFE).- The Ivory Coast, Brazil and Iran will be Spain’s rivals in the first phase of the 2023 Basketball World Cup to be held in Japan, the Philippines and Indonesia between August 25 and September 10, according to the raffle held today in Manila.
The Spanish team, defending the title won in China in 2019, is drawn in group G and will play its first three games in the Indonesian city of Jakarta.
Spain won its fourth gold in a Eurobasket in 2022 by beating France in the final 88-76, thus completing a memorable feat with a team under construction made up of up to seven rookies.
