Pamplona (EFE) .
The coalition that integrates Izquierda Unida, Batzarre, Equo, Alianza Verde and Independientes, in addition to the purple formation, is a “pioneer” in the State, since it was created “when state projects were not yet underway at the national level.”
The candidate, who debuts on the front line of politics with a highly renewed list, makes it clear in an interview with EFE that she wants to enter a future Government.
Question.- What is your objective in these elections?
Answer.- Our objective has already become a reality, which was to form Contigo Navarra and from there to grow and gain prominence and representativeness with what we have been able to achieve up to now.
Q.- When it comes to talking about forming a government, they are now a coalition, and one part entered the government in 2019 and another did not, what would your position be?
A.- First we have to go through the polls and obtain sufficient support from a part of Navarrese and, if these conditions are met, the will of Contigo Zurekin is to govern.
Q.-When negotiating both representation within the Executive and a programmatic agreement, what would you do that you did not do in 2019? Or would they keep everything the same?
A.- There are several issues that we would raise in a different way. The programmatic agreement must be negotiated specifying much more, the specific areas and measures and, on the other hand, scheduling those agreements and initiatives. It cannot be that we end the legislature due to lack of definition or lack of specificity without measures that were agreed upon.
Q.- For example?
A.- The creation of the public energy agency of Navarra. It is a clear example and one that would have been key to alleviating the burden of Navarrese families.
Q.- Podemos reached 7 parliamentarians in 2015 in which IE had 2, there are 9 in total. Where do you think those voters are? What do you propose to recover them?
R.- I think we are already doing what we have to do, above all, excite. Propose a transformative project, based on the unit of action. With you Navarra has managed to unify the entire ideological spectrum, five political formations so that all Navarrese men and women who want to help us think about the Navarra of the next decade can do so without having to be attached to any political force. That is the basis for illusion.
If we add to that a long-term program, I have no doubt that we are going to grow. We do not set any ceiling and opt for everything. This is only the beginning of the project, from there up.
Q.- Is Navarra a coalition that is more along the lines proposed by Yolanda Díaz with Sumar?
A.- Contigo Navarra was a pioneering project at the state level a year ago. When the state projects were not yet underway at the national level, here in Navarra we were aiming in that direction and we had a closed agreement. We thought it was essential to harmonize and work together to convince the electorate of the reality of this project.
We are in tune with all those unity projects, of course we are. Under the umbrella of or under the protection of, at all, we were pioneers and it is a Navarrese project, which was born in Navarra and its scope of decision will be circumscribed to the foral territory.
Q.- We have seen you when Yolanda Díaz visited Navarra, but also when Podemos leaders do so. Díaz gave her project as an example.
A.- It is a source of pride that they recognize a job well done and with all the humility in the world, but I think we have done it very well, with time and a solid foundation.
Q.- There is still talk of red lines to form a government with forces that have been in the Parliament of Navarra for some time. What do you think?
A: We do not agree with establishing red lines. We are willing to agree for the progress of Navarra with all the progressive forces of Navarra and we do not mark red lines.
