Ourense, Apr 25 (EFE).- The president of the Ourense Provincial Council and the provincial PP, Manuel Baltar, was surprised last weekend driving at 215 kilometers per hour on the A-52, near Zamora, when I was traveling to Madrid.
As official sources from the provincial institution have indicated to Efe, Baltar traveled to the Spanish capital on Sunday in an official car that belongs to the Ourense Provincial Council and that is available to the Presidency to participate in different meetings of the organization.
The politician from Orense was penalized with a fine of 600 euros and six points, which sources from the Provincial Council have confirmed that he will pay. And from the provincial entity they have assured that they are unaware of the possible opening of a report for a possible crime against traffic safety.
Police sources consulted by Efe have indicated, however, that in this case there would be a crime for driving above 212 kilometers per hour in a section that is limited to 120, therefore, more than 60 km/hour above the allowed speed.
