Las Palmas De Gran Canaria (EFE).- The PSOE candidate for re-election as president of the Canary Islands Government, Ángel Víctor Torres, stated this Sunday that the next 28M “will endorse, by a large majority, the victory of the PSOE” in the islands, as predicted by surveys such as the one published this day by “Canarias 7”.
Before participating in the celebration of Book Day, focused on the figure of the deceased writer from Gran Canaria Alexis Ravelo, and questions from journalists, Torres alluded to that survey, carried out for this newspaper by Técnicos en Socioanálisis SL between 3 and 19 April and that predicts that the PSOE will once again be the most voted, with between 24 and 29 deputies, compared to the 25 obtained in the 2019 elections.
In addition to being thankful for being “the most valued and well-known politician in the Canary Islands”, according to that poll, Torres has estimated that the important thing is that in the next appointment with the polls he will once again endorse, as happened four years ago, the victory of his party .
For the regional president, the next elections offer the canaries the opportunity to have, through their vote, the government they want for the coming years. EFE
