Barcelona (EFE).- The Spanish Carlos Alcaraz chained his second Conde de Godó Trophy after defeating the Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas in the final (6-3 and 6-4), in 78 minutes of play.
This is the fourth time in as many matches that Alcaraz, the second world racket, has defeated Tsitsipas, the fifth player in the ATP ranking, although this Sunday is the first time that both tennis players met in a final.
For the Athenian, it was the third time he had played on the clay of the RCT Barcelona-1899 (he also lost those of 2018 and 2021 against Rafa Nadal). The Murcian, on the other hand, counts his finals by victories, since last year he beat Pablo Carreño by the same result (6-3 and 6-4)
