Pamplona (EFE).- The director of Cáritas Diocesana, Ángel Iriarte, died this Sunday at the age of 62, as reported by the Archbishopric of Pamplona and Tudela on social networks.
Ángel Iriarte, born in Pamplona on October 2, 1960, was ordained a priest in Corella on March 30, 1986. This was his first assignment as a deacon and later as parochial vicar (1985-1987).
Between 1987 and 1990 he obtained a Licentiate in Moral Theology and is taking doctoral courses at the Higher Institute of Moral Theology of the Lateran University of Rome. Since 1990 he has been a professor of Moral Theology at the “San Miguel Arcángel” Higher Center for Theological Studies in Pamplona.
In 2010 he was named Canon of the Cathedral of Pamplona. From 2011 to 2013 he was a Member of the General Council and the Permanent Commission of Cáritas Española. He was vicar of Pastoral Social.
