Madrid (EFE) reduces to 200,000 the number of households that could join.
In the Financial Stability Report published this Wednesday, the supervisor explains that with a rise in the Euribor of 400 basis points, like the one that has occurred so far since the end of 2021, although it has not yet been fully transferred, there would be 549,000 households that could opt for the temporary measures of the new Code of Good Practices.
If the more structural measures contemplated in the same code are added, this number of potential beneficiaries would rise and sources from the supervisor acknowledge that it would exceed 600,000. However, based on past experience, they estimate that the number of households that could end up receiving shelter would be around 200,000.
