Cintruénigo (Navarra) (EFE).- The president of the Popular Party, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, has censured the PSOE this Sunday for “surrendering” the Civil Guard of Navarra to its “partners” of EH Bildu, something that he has considered “improper of a democratic country.
In a political act held in the town of Cintruénigo before more than 400 people, the popular leader, who has described Navarra as “one of the most important, most historic lands, with the most character and with the most future”, has assured that the The existence of the Foral Community “is guaranteed in the Spanish Constitution”.
“No one has to explain to us how important the Civil Guard is for Navarra, which has always defended the Constitution in this territory,” said Feijóo, who stressed that “defending the Constitution is defending the Foral Community of Navarra and the institutions” .
Feijóo, who has been accompanied by the president of the PP of Navarra, Javier García, and the PP candidate for mayor of Cintruénigo, Marcos Navascues, has also recognized and thanked the work of the Army “to defend freedom in Spain”.
Rejection of the “use” of the FCSE
In this sense, regarding the troops deployed in Latvia, he stressed that “the first time that a Spanish government has prevented the head of the opposition from thanking the Spanish Army is now.”
If he is president of the Government, he added, he will not allow “partisan use” of the State Security Forces “neither to take advantage of them nor to surrender them to partners as the PSOE does with Bildu, removing it from the Foral Community of Navarra”.
This “is inappropriate in a democratic country”, because it shows that “those who have always attacked the Civil Guard turn out to rule Navarra and rule Spain”, he indicated in this act, which was attended, among others, by former UPN deputies Carlos García Adanero and Sergio Sayas and the former regional councilors Fermín Alonso and María García-Barberena, now on PP lists.
After assuring that “we are going to be a government party in Navarra sooner rather than later”, Feijóo has considered that it is necessary to “forget this nightmare” that is lived in Spain and has declared that “we cannot be in the permanent trenches” and therefore For this, we must “tear down the walls that they are trying to build to divide Spanish society.”
Navarra deserves “respect” and “good governments”
“We are the alternative to sanchismo, to the model it represents and to the legacy it will leave” in Spain, pointed out the leader of the PP, who has asserted that “Bildu is not going to mark the destinies of Navarra and Spain” in the future .
In this regard, he has highlighted that in the PP “we are the alternative to those who see Navarra as a neighborhood of the Basque Country” or as “a secondary territory, as a bargaining chip to win the votes in the Congress of Deputies every Tuesday”.
Pedro Sánchez, he pointed out, is president of the Government “thanks to Bildu” and governs in Navarra “thanks to the abertzale left”, a formation “that considers that Navarra is the peripheral Euskadi”
“Sánchez is not going to be able to govern with Bildu because we are going to win the elections and we are going to govern with the parties that believe in the whole of Spain,” said the president of the PP, who has maintained that Navarra deserves “respect” and ” good governments”.
Feijóo has promised that the PP is the party with the most votes in Navarra in the next general elections and that the Autonomous Community is “in the priorities of the Government of Spain.”
Denounces Sánchez’s “political arrogance”
On the other hand, he has affirmed that the request for forgiveness to the victims of sexual violence by President Pedro Sánchez is “a prototype of what the political arrogance of a leader is.”
This request for forgiveness for the “undesired effects” of the law of the only yes is yes, is not made out of respect for women but “does it out of respect for the ballot boxes, which are already beginning to be placed,” he declared.
Approving the law in its current terms “was not a mistake, it was an act of unforgivable arrogance”, said Feijóo, who has considered that, if Sánchez wants to apologize, tomorrow “he must dismiss the Government and the ministers who have made this legal botch that is outrageous for women and minors”.
“Spain is ungoverned”
In his speech at this event, Feijóo lamented that Spain has “a government that discusses at least three times in the morning and three times in the afternoon” and that wants “we Spaniards to be spectators in real time” listening to all the “disqualifications ” of the members of the Executive.
In this sense, after calculating that “we are governed by twenty parties”, which “is the accreditation that Spain is ungoverned”, Feijóo has highlighted that “we are not going to get used to this being what happens in our country”.
As the Government is “in permanent crisis”, he added, “Sánchez and his legion of ministers and senior officials have spent five months reforming the botch of the law of only yes is yes.”
For this reason, it has recommended that the Government copy the reform proposal made by the PP five months ago and “let’s put an end to this botch job that shames all Spanish citizens” and that “is a lack of respect for women and minors”. that “they see that there are still 3,000 cases to be reviewed out of the 4,000 cases of abuse.”
The popular leader, who yesterday took a walk through the center of Pamplona, this Sunday has traveled to Tudela, where he has visited the Vegetable Fair
